One of the best Pilsner Urquell beer in Prague,big garden. Food is over-priced a little bit;tasted well. Cool you can stay in hall or beer bar after 11pm
Had the chicken in creamy paprika sauce and roasted pork. Food taste were good. Beer was good too. Hard to get the waiter / waitress attention as we are seated quite some distance from the counter where they key in orders to the system. They accepted credit card. Toilet has a code for customers. Ask the waiter for the code. It was clean. Why I gave 2 stars? Because when the bill came, the waitress asked \No tips?\. I hate it when people ask for tips like it is their birthright to get that much of money they think they should get because they brought food to the table. I rounded up the bill amount but apparently it is too little for her. Hence, she rather not have any. In the end, her ego is worth much more. I thought tips should be given if the service was really good and they make you feel welcome. Anyhow, her loss and the restaurant reputation.
I've been staying in the apartments upstairs from this bar/restaurant and have used it almost daily. I have found the staff really friendly and professional. The food and beer are amongst the best I've had in all my 15 trips to Prague. I will really miss coming here when I return home but I will definitely be back on future visits.
Very popular, a lot of outdoor sitting. It it was little noisy. The food and beer was great. Service was very good and they speak English :)
One of the best & nicest places which I visited in Praha. 1) outside garden seatting during warm months, 2) delicious foods, 3) one of the best Czech beers (if not the best!): Staropremen. I am so sorry that I can not buy Staropremen in New York as easy as it was before. Greetings from Brooklyn.
