Museum is under construction until 2020. Personally I didn’t enjoy the exhibition too much, maybe after the reconstruction I’ll give it another chance!

Open everyday 10 - 6pm (excluding Mondays) and admission is free. It's about a ten minute walk from Florenc metro station. Every exhibit has an information board/sign attached in Czech and English. The ground floor is mostly related to the period in and around WW1, 1st floor around WW2. The exhibits range from uniforms, medals, artillery pieces, guns of all description, sabres, etc, from most european nations. If you like military history, a proper, old fashioned museum, where you can look at exhibits, not have to put up with screaming school kids, etc, then you'll definitely like this place. It does not look much from the outside but don't let that put you off.

Great museum! Cool military stuff is exhibited, the history is interesting! And I don't know if we just came at a convenient time but it wasn't crowded at all so that's a plus

Well worth to visit! Its a bit hidden from the main touristical path, but shows a very interesting exhibition about Czech soldiers in the Austrian and Russian imperial armies in WW 1 and also a very good new designed exhibition about the WW 1 at all. Well worth also to see the part about the german occupation time 39-45. Unfortunately, the part about the interwar period 1918-1939 was closed without prior announcement!

Excellent museum. Gives you a comprehensive overview of Czech military history and the Czechs' significant contribution to the allied cause in both world wars.

Many muzeums offer a military section, but this one is founded by the czech army. The organization and the the providers details are often unique. It's worth a visit.

Great place just a shame it takes some finding.Lots of WW2 stuff with some exhibits from Operation Anthropoid so it's great for history buffs.
