Good food and good beer, but sadly let down by appalling service this time

Good beer but bad food. It’s not hard to serve hot chips. Put them back in the fryer for 30 seconds. Use the hot plate to keep plates warm. Got a suggestion of a free coffee as a replacement for the food. I asked them for a nice beer.
