DM is the place I miss the most hehehe
Just got ripped off at this store in the Pavillion Mall in Prague and the management won't take action. Purchased an item for 250 crowns. Gave the girl 1000 crowns. She gave me 250 crowns back. Told her she needed to give me another 500 crowns. She pretended she was too busy with the next person in line. I held my ground and put up a stink but she just dismissed me. I figured o.k. I just got ripped off for 25 US and her karma will get her in the end. As I exited the store I was approached by 3 women who were in line behind me and saw the whole thing. My receipt EVEN says I paid her 1000 and was due 750 in change. They offered to go back into the store with me to confront the cashier (whose name is Ivana by the way - heavy w. red scraggly hair). Same thing happened. They were as upset as I was and kept saying \She cheated you.\ Went back a few minutes later and Ivana was gone. Talked to another girl (manager?) who took Ivana's cash box and went back and counted it and said \it's o.k.\ Obviously Ivana pocketed the money before taking her break. I told the manager she needed to look at the security camera which would show the transaction and the 3 witnesses who stopped me outside the store to let me know I had been cheated. No action from DM - just a big \go f yourself\. In the meantime they have an employee who will continue to rip off tourists and give Prague a bad name. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH YOUR MONEY IN THIS STORE!!! It's only 25 US and not a lot of money but perhaps her other victims might feel differently.
