This monument stands in tribute to Josef Jungmann, an 18th and 19th century a Czech poet and linguist. Along with Josef Dobrovský, he is considered a leading figure of the Czech National Revival of the Czech language and culture. This monument features a Bronze statue of Jungmann sitting on a chair. His left hand is hung over the armrest, casually holding a half unrolled scroll. The sculpture sits upon a granite pedestal with his name engraved. Not much to see to be honest. Probably one for the locals more than tourists.
