The oncology department food is terribly bad and absolutely unadapted to support the cancer treatment patient needs. The rooms in the 14th floor miss air-conditioning and also the possibility to open the window a bit. Some staff is friendly but some nurses are very unfriendly and not caring. The cleaning staff does not speak Czech at all. The microwave is extremely slowly heating and needs to be changed. There are also some doctors who are learning but missing the training and acompaniement by more experienced doctor so they make suffer the patients enormously during such a standard intervention like a PICC insertion. And the buffet of the hospital is a total communism recall. There shall be some sort of healthy food available in the building!!

The ophthalmology emergency service of the hospital, situated at floor 16, is quite bad,in the sense of the attention from the part of nurses and doctors, I went several times, and just two doctors from 6 where nice to me, I don’t speak czech perfectly and I was trying to make me understand talking in czech, majority of them didn’t want to understand me.... recommending sant Anne.. the crew there it’s seem more profesional and trying to find a solution to my health problem.

My Daughter Thea YEROLEMOU from cyprus student in vetinary in university of brno last Saturday was sick with fever she came to your hospital and she has a flue..she stay 2 days in hospital and you take care of her ️.I would like to thank the doctors and all the staff of the hospital about how good and professional was .. I was advised not to visit this hospital on a Monday bank holiday, but I required urgent assistance. I saw MUDr. Jiri Hlavac. Oh, and I have lived in the Czech Republic for many years and have 3 children here, so I am not some passing tourist. Waiting time was long, but I was fine with that. When I did have the pleasure of meeting this doctor he was sat astride and chewing gum while flirting with the nurse in the room. Actually, the end result was good as he did provide an excellent prognosis, but I can't forgive him for his rudeness and lack of professionalism. I originally stayed at Plzen University hospital - when my accident first happened - and my experience there was incredible. Excellent. The hospital in Brno, in comparison, felt more like Carry On Doctor.
