I got a christmas gift from a business partner in the middle east. it contained some sweets and candy and was valued at the origin around 60 USD. the sender had paid all the cost so that i didnt have to pay at all. UPS sent me message asking me to list the items in details and mention the value of each!!!! how would i know what was in the package when it was a gift?! so i had to call the partner in the middle east and ssk them to send me the info.as i said, the value was around 60 USD and funny is that they had already given this info to UPS office at the origin!!!. when they brought me the package they said i should pay around 1500 CZK!! i got no receipt for that and driver asked for cash only!! i paid as i didnt want to reject a gift but after that i complained many times and asked for the reason why i had to pay that high when all the cost was already covered by the sender. i was told many different versions of the reasons each time which were not true. such as transportation cost, tax, service fee.,... anyway, it was never clarified. my business partner told me that all other countries who got the gift from them by using UPS service were having the same experience!! i think i don't have to say more. never use their services.

Absolutely awful service, which doesn't deserve even ONE star. I have bought a valuable thing as a gift for myself with delivery from Germany to Czechia. After label creation at seller's end it took 4 days to send it to Checzia. Then UPS kept my package at a warehouse for 2 working days and a weekend, promising to deliver it on Monday. On Moday afternoon I found out through the tracking system that somebody from the company didn't like my address and they need it to be confirmed. I called ASAP and confirmed that my address and I exist and wait for the package. I was assured that the package will be delivered on Tuesday. Then for about 18 hours the status was something like \The address CHANGE request accepted\. Today in the morning I called again and CONFIRMED THE ADDRESS again. They assured me again, that my package will be delivered today. The status has changed to \Address change confirmed\ and of course they didn't hurry to process it. In few hours I called again and ofcourse they said that they won't manage to deliver it today. I proposed to come to Prague by myself and pick the package, but they said that it isn't possible and I should wait until tomorrow. And let alone that I should pay for the package on delivery and they assigned to it the price in CZK instead of EUR (1 EUR 26.7 CZK), so I will have to contact the seller, explain this and seek for a way to fix the situation. The only reason why I would give UPS a single start is that you can at least call them.

Everytime i have to deal with this company I have problems and the packages never arrive on time. Worst carrier company in the Czech Republic

They coming without any notification, not first time. Yesterday guy from UPS came to my home without notify me which day and what time they will come. He ring the doorbell (i saw him on cameras) i was not in home, he even didn't try to call me on my phone - what kind of Proffessional company is it ? Today i waiting fro the package from the morning and i have a lot of things to do but i sitting at home and waiting him, on the support phone they telling that he can arrive till 18:00. Again they not notify me, i called to support myself. Half of the day was spent only to wait for UPS coming. Even in cheaper companies - PPL, DPD, GEIS, Messenger even Ceska Posta working much better. And this is Express shipping i ordered i paid 30euros more. Bad Bad service.

I have rated UPS - or \oops\ as they are known in our house - before but it seems to have been cleared. So today, another failed delivery and another chance to echo the comments below. We had not been emailed to expect a package today, but it didn't matter as we were at home. My phone was called for 1 second, no chance to answer, the downstairs bell was called but nobody spoke - my wife was literally standing next to it at the time - and now it's off to the access point again (the beer shop closed at weekends). It seems clear that the delivery driver speeds through his delivery area as fast as possible pretending to make attempts at delivery. We only have this problem with UPS but it happens every time with them. Their customer service is also atrocious and as usual in the Czech Republic they make out it is the customer at fault. We will continue emailing the company we order from to STOP USING UPS.

They sent me a message that delivery was attempted. Even though I have been home all the time. Not a sign of theit truck in a sight. That sucked. Next day they finally did it with no problems.

Surprisingly awful delivery service. No attempt to deliver and no email after \unsuccessful\ attempt. I was sitting at home waiting for delivery and only in tracking I found out that there was some attempt (when? where? why nobody called me?) and my package is now in UPS Access Point.
