We had a very interesting tour through the house, the guide even spoke German. The guide was friendly and he explained everything very good. The tour is not expensive and very interesting! If you are in Brno you have to go there!

The villa is truly a historical marvel. For anyone with interest in architecture it is absolute must to visit. For general public, the whole thing might not feel as impressive. Not recommended for groups with children.
So apparently tours are sold out of the building six months in advance and we need to return in December to have a look. They need to work something out if it’s that popular. From the outside you do get teased and a peak into some windows. It would be an amazing tour to do if you can plan in advance. The gardens aren’t overly large but overall well done. It’s not accessible for people with mobility issues
What a wonderful experience. The living area int the villa is breathtaking. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very nice. You can visit the garden without reservation, but you have to book the tour months in advance. Totally worth the planning.
Extremely interesting peace of history, very different architecture and advanced technology for its time. Definitely worth visiting. Tickets must be bought well in advance.
Better to book in advance. If not you'll be able to visit the garden only which is nice as well. Visiting the building is a good architectural experience. You will be able to touch the modernists revolution.
House itself is nice and surely ahead of its time. It still looks modern in our times. And also the surrounding garden is beautiful. In 1993 the document was signed here that divided the Czechoslovakia into the Czech and Slovak Republic. Only downside is the really long waiting time for tickets, weeks to months ahead.
We couldn't enter the villa (you have to buy tickets few months before), only the garden, but it was worthy of it. You can see some parts of the villa from outside, through the windows... In the bookstore (possible to visit from the garden), in the room in the back, there are some pieces of famous furniture from 1930 and detailed explanation of the villa's history. Great story!
